In October 2018 a report from NGO, The Sentry, indicated that conflict gold is reaching US companies through global supply chains. Conflict Minerals Reports and Form SD filings for the 2018 Reporting Year for the US Conflict Minerals law are due annually by May 31st and due diligence is required by issuers to disclose the chain of custody of conflict minerals in their supply chains.
