New Chemical Management Requirements Approved in Taiwan

In September 2011, Taiwan’s Cabinet approved changes to its chemical management requirements through an amendment to the draft Occupational Safety and Health Act. The changes will ban the manufacture or import of any new chemical substances that are not listed in Taiwan's Existing Chemical Inventory and have not been registered or have a completed risk assessment.  For more information visit the Chemical Substance Nomination &  Notification (CSSN) website.
